Responsibilities

  • Help to maintain rig equipment and tubular for crew
  • Assist trucks move equipment about the rig and between the rig 
  • Drive truck to and from campus locations for the transportation of materials
  • General housekeeping activities like cleaning and tidying up rig areas
  • Handle, sort, and move cords, hoses, cement, and other materials
  • Washing the rig by operating pressure washer
  • Assist the drilling crew in measurement, labeling, and recording detail of casing and drill pipe
  • Maintenance of drill equipment on the drill floor
  • Help carrying planks/grating
  • Learn the terms and conditions of the company

EDUCATION:  

  • H2S Alive Certification
  • Standard First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Electronic General Safety Orientation (EGSO)/Petroleum Safety Training (PST)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience as a lease hand, carpenter, general laborer, roofer, landscaper, heavy equipment operator, construction, pipefitting, drilling rig, etc.

Pay Range

$30 – $39 per hour

Core Competencies Required

Must be able to bear expenses of accommodation and meals in non-camp situations, Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions like rain, heat/cold, and exposure to loud noises, Have the ability to work in rapid paced/recurring environment
