Responsibilities

  • Operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, graders, and loaders
  • Excavating, moving, loading, and grading earth, rock, gravel, or other materials during construction
  • Cleaning in order to remove dirt from the work site
  • Determining dig sites by coordinating with other workers
  • Conducting checks on equipment on a daily basis
  • Deepening waterways or reclaiming earth fills by operating heavy dredging equipment

EDUCATION:  

  • Must have completed secondary education
  • One-to two-year apprenticeship program or high school courses in heavy equipment operating
  • Common Safety Orientation or (EGSO/PST/GELS)
  • Internal company certification

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in oil and gas rigs is preferred
  • At least two-year of experience as an excavator operator is required
  • Trucking experience is also preferred

Pay Range

$29.54 – 40.38 $ per hour
