  • Directing, coordinating, and scheduling the activities of workers who drill for oil and gas, operating service rigs 
  • Establishing tactics and procedures for work schedules
  • Setting up and taking down of rigs
  • Giving measures to enhance productivity and safety
  • Handling personnel actions like hirings and promotions


  • Must have completed secondary education
  • A two-year high school diploma in petroleum engineering technology
  • Petroleum industry approved training courses
  • Common Safety Orientation or (EGSO/PST/GELS)
  • Workplace hazardous materials information system (WHMIS)
  • Transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) Certification


  • At least one year of experience in oil and gas is required
  • One year of experience in Petroleum & Natural Gas Extraction Occupations is preferred

Pay Range

$45 – $66 per hour

Leadership skills, High sense of responsibility, Phenomenal practical skills, Good communication and listening skills, Able to fully analyze situations and plan accordingly

  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license 
  • H2S Alive license
  • Standard First Aid/CPR License
