Duties and Responsibilities

As a Nitrogen Operator, more specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate and maintain nitrogen equipment and pumps at various sites, including hydraulic fracturing locations.
  • Ensure safe handling and transportation of nitrogen.
  • Perform pre- and post-job equipment inspections and maintenance.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of nitrogen equipment.
  • Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this nitrogen job, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with nitrogen equipment or similar machinery.
  • Knowledge of nitrogen pump operations and safety procedures.
  • A valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, and bend as required.
  • A commitment to teamwork and safety standards.
